Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and build production-grade systems for strategic pilots that transition into scalable core-product implementations.
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations extending Serval’s AI agent platform.
- Build secure, high-performance integrations with external systems, emphasizing reliability, data modeling, observability, and maintainability.
- Turn customer edge cases into generalized, reusable product capabilities through system design and code contributions.
- Own the technical lifecycle of key deployments from architecture through scaling, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Work directly with customers to convert complex workflows into reliable AI-driven systems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience, ideally in a product-focused or customer-facing role.
- Strong coding and system design skills with experience shipping production systems and building external integrations.
- Ability to operate with high ownership in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Clear communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
- Track record of taking initiatives from ambiguous problems to shipped solutions with measurable impact.
- Experience at an early-stage startup as a founding or early engineer is preferred.
- Experience working with enterprise customers or supporting complex technical sales cycles is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT, security, service management, or workflow automation domains is preferred.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM-powered features or agent-based systems is preferred.
- Interest in founding or building a company in the future is preferred.
