Responsibilities

  • Contribute to design discussions and enterprise architecture forums across the lending technology organization.
  • Analyze legacy systems and their interactions to understand business functionality and design optimized integrations.
  • Lead the design of scalable enterprise-level application systems for the collections recovery process.
  • Create detailed software architecture diagrams and define robust, future-proof solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership to software development teams, including guidance on system integration and data migration.
  • Review and approve low-level software designs and conduct code reviews for quality and architecture compliance.
  • Define DevOps practices and tools, containerization and orchestration approaches, and observability solutions.
  • Design and manage data models and databases and apply performance engineering and optimization standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CIS, MIS, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience architecting enterprise solutions based on microservices, event-driven architecture, SOA-based web services, and SOAP-based APIs in or for the financial services industry.
  • Experience leading enterprise application design with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Kafka, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure, OpenShift or Kubernetes, Splunk, Kibana, Dynatrace, Erwin Data Modeler, Oracle SQL, MongoDB, JMeter or HP Performance Tester, and WebSphere.
  • Experience creating architecture diagrams, providing technical leadership, advising on integration and data migration, reviewing software designs and code, and optimizing system performance.
