Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end full-stack applications spanning frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, and databases.
- Develop RESTful APIs, gRPC and Thrift integrations, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, code reviews, automated testing, security, observability, and CI/CD practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs clearly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on, production-grade full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong ReactJS and TypeScript frontend experience, including JavaScript, hooks, and reusable UI components.
- Backend development experience with at least two of Go, Java, Python, or Node.js, including APIs, services, and integrations.
- Knowledge of system design, distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, RDS, MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Hands-on AWS experience with services such as ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Docker, CircleCI, Terraform, unit testing, integration testing, and UI testing with Jest or Cypress.
- Experience working across distributed, cross-time-zone Agile/Scrum teams and mentoring engineers.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Gemini, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
- Preferred qualifications include Elasticsearch, Thrift or similar RPC frameworks, monorepos, Bazel, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, shared UI component libraries, enterprise design systems, Kafka, AWS EventBridge, and real estate technology, marketplace, or customer-facing SaaS experience.
