Responsibilities
- Act as a pre-sales, customer-facing technical expert aligning Salesforce solutions with customer digital transformation and cloud adoption strategies.
- Support early and mid-stage deal cycles through requirements discovery, proofs of concept, rapid technical prototypes, product deep dives, and architecture reviews.
- Design and advise on multi-cloud application architecture, data management, integration, security, AI, enterprise governance, and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Develop repeatable propositions and go-to-market strategies for sales teams.
- Lead discussions with business executives, IT leaders, and developers regarding change programs and technical governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a STEM field, or equivalent experience.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise software applications, delivery, and end-to-end system architecture.
- Coding experience and willingness to build occasional hands-on proofs of concept using technologies such as Apex, Node, Python, Java, LWC, and web components.
- Understanding of databases, ETL/ELT pipelines, data management, enterprise integration patterns, REST/GraphQL APIs, event streams, middleware, cloud infrastructure, IAM/SSO, and information security.
- Hands-on experience in customer-facing architect, pre-sales, or technical consultant roles, including live technical demonstrations and architecture reviews.
- Excellent communication, leadership, relationship-building, strategic problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Salesforce certifications and/or Trailhead Superbadges are preferred.
- Experience with design thinking, persona-based discovery, compliance, risk mitigation, data lineage tooling, graduate study, or a relevant technical or business area is preferred.

- Base salary range of $148,190 - $231,980 annually; location-specific ranges may apply, including $162,960 - $255,150 per year in California, New York, and select metropolitan areas.
