Base Salary

$209k - $240k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain web applications containing customer-domain business logic.
Collaborate with Architects, Tech Leads, Product, Design, and other stakeholders to deliver customer and business value.
Mentor junior engineers and guide the team on frameworks, best practices, and technologies.
Lead a workstream, partner with Product on requirements, define technical requirements, and plan actionable tasks.
Create concise and detailed technical documentation.
Build and maintain unit and integration tests to support high code quality.
Support healthy system operations and high availability.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
At least 8 years of software engineering experience.
Experience serving as a technical lead for a product engineering team.
Expertise building APIs with C# and .NET.
Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing, or similar architectural patterns.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience contributing to and interpreting system designs.
A proven track record of teamwork and delivery.
Experience in fintech or financial services, including familiarity with regulatory considerations.
Preferred experience includes KYC workflows, multiple server-side programming languages, TDD or DDD, Marten, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and systems serving millions of users.

Hybrid work arrangement requiring 2–3 days per week in the San Francisco, California office.
