Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test incremental, production-ready software solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Develop across the front end and back end with attention to scalability, performance, maintainability, and security-first design.
- Use AI-assisted development patterns and tools for analysis, coding, refactoring, testing, documentation, API-client generation, and automation.
- Evaluate AI-generated suggestions for correctness, security, performance, style, coding standards, and organizational guardrails.
- Create automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests and repeatable test fixtures.
- Mentor and pair with engineers, including coaching junior engineers on prompt strategies and responsible AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Collaborate directly with business leaders and subject-matter experts to understand ACA’s domain and support successful delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- 8–12+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in C#.
- Deep experience with API design using REST and/or GraphQL.
- Experience with Angular or a similar framework.
- Experience with cloud-native development, preferably on AWS.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Strong communication skills.
- AWS certifications are a preferred qualification.
