Responsibilities
- Design and maintain core platform microservices for model gateway, agent orchestration, and retrieval APIs.
- Apply clean and hexagonal architecture principles to create maintainable, testable, and scalable systems.
- Implement caching, rate limiting, retries, and message queue or event-driven architecture patterns.
- Own the full service lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and engineering teams on technical solutions, infrastructure, tooling, and system design.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of backend Python experience with production microservices.
- Require strong FastAPI or equivalent asynchronous framework experience.
- Require hands-on experience applying clean or hexagonal architecture in production systems.
- Require experience with caching, rate limiting, retries, message queues, or event-driven architecture.
- Require experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
- Require experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability tools, and ideally AWS.
- Preferred qualifications include LLM integration experience with streaming, LiteLLM, LangGraph, or RAG; Langfuse familiarity; Kafka or SQS experience; OAuth2/JWT knowledge; Terraform experience; and banking or financial industry experience.
