Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and technical direction across multiple engineering domains and pods.
- Drive modularization, platform decoupling, modernization, and reduction of technical debt.
- Design secure, resilient, performant cloud-native services and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, clinical, and compliance stakeholders on architectural alignment.
- Mentor engineers and elevate architecture, code quality, testability, and design standards.
- Evaluate frameworks, tools, CRM integrations, and interoperability strategies, including Salesforce.
- Develop architecture guidelines, reference implementations, documentation, and AI integration approaches.
- Lead technical discovery and prototyping for integrations and data flows involving FHIR, HL7, and Kafka.
- Influence multi-team projects to meet reliability, security, performance, and maintainability standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 3+ years in a senior, staff, or principal-level role.
- Experience designing and building distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native services with .NET Core and C#, plus React or Angular.
- Experience with AI/ML services or architectural contributions to innovation-focused initiatives.
- Strong experience with domain-driven design, microservices, event-driven architectures, Apache Kafka or comparable messaging platforms, and saga patterns.
- Hands-on Azure or AWS architecture experience, including serverless functions, messaging queues, managed databases, and infrastructure as code with Terraform or Bicep.
- Experience designing CRM integrations, particularly with Salesforce, and structured API-based data exchange and synchronization.
- Ability to lead architecture initiatives improving scalability, performance, reliability, and developer experience.
- Understanding of CI/CD, observability, DevSecOps, and secrets management practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience in regulated industries and with FHIR, HL7, X12, cross-cloud, or hybrid-cloud architecture patterns.
