Base Salary
$167k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, high-throughput edge services and APIs for large volumes of real-time data.
- Optimize backend systems for low latency, high reliability, and efficient resource utilization.
- Bridge cloud infrastructure with physical edge devices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and scale production-ready systems.
- Maintain code quality through testing, code reviews, and system monitoring.
Requirements
- Strong production experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed systems and robust APIs.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, with Java and Python heavily used in the stack.
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Debugging, system design, and architectural thinking skills.
- Interest in learning domains including edge computing, Linux-based systems, and computer vision pipelines.
- Preferred qualifications include experience or interest in IoT, hardware integration, computer vision or ML model deployment, Linux environments, containerization, message brokers, streaming tools, or cloud platforms.
