Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance scalable, performance-focused applications using Java and Python.
- Implement and maintain event-processing and messaging systems using Kafka, Flink, and CEP technologies.
- Design, deploy, and manage highly available cloud solutions on AWS.
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters.
- Conduct quantitative data analysis and use quantitative analytic frameworks to improve decisions and system performance.
- Develop and maintain Prometheus and Grafana tools for time-series visualization and monitoring.
- Create statistical reports and reporting systems that provide actionable insights.
- Automate and streamline trading, reconciliation, and analytics workflows in collaboration with other teams.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot developed systems and applications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in both Java and Python development.
- Profound knowledge of event processing and messaging queues, including Kafka, Flink, and CEP.
- Strong AWS experience and proficiency managing Kubernetes environments.
- Demonstrated quantitative data analysis experience and familiarity with quantitative analytic frameworks.
- Experience using Prometheus and Grafana for time-series visualization and monitoring.
- Experience developing and maintaining reporting systems and generating statistical reports.
- Understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
- Trading or financial-environment experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Nice-to-have experience with Aeron, SBE, C++, FPGA programming, cryptocurrency markets, TCP, WebSocket, Linux system administration, Boost, ZeroMQ, MongoDB, and Protobuffer.
