Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and drive architectural decisions across multiple teams and platforms.
- Mentor developers and oversee complex development projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure adherence to development standards and procedures.
- Drive scalability and performance optimization for systems processing millions of transactions daily.
- Assist with project timelines and team performance.
- Apply Java/JVM debugging, performance tuning, and memory profiling expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 8+ years of Java development experience.
- Experience with Java 21, multithreaded development, and distributed messaging using Kafka and JMS.
- Experience with Spring Framework 6.x, Spring Boot 3.x, WebFlux, and Spring AOP.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL, JPA, and MyBatis.
- Experience with microservices, API gateway patterns, service discovery, event-driven architecture, Redis, and Hazelcast.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs with OpenAPI and Swagger.
- Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, Spring Boot Test, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Argo CD.
- Proven experience mentoring development teams, strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Preferred experience with Claude Code, Cursor, RAG, MCP, LLM technologies, financial markets, or open-source contributions.
