Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software modules and reusable components for Cotiviti’s product suite.
- Analyze requirements and specifications and create detailed implementation designs.
- Conduct unit and integration testing using appropriate methodologies and techniques.
- Analyze and resolve software issues originating from internal or external customers.
- Optimize and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Develop and integrate web services, containerized applications, distributed data systems, and Kafka-based streaming solutions.
- Review proposed software engineering approaches for adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with Senior Developers, QA, Product Owners, Project Management, and other stakeholders.
- Mentor team members on software engineering methods and techniques.
- Maintain technical knowledge and complete change-control, documentation, and other assigned projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2–3 years of experience with software engineering best practices, including continuous integration, unit testing, refactoring, and code reviews.
- 2–3 years of experience with Java or Python.
- 2–3 years of experience with VBScript or PowerShell.
- 2–3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, or Hive.
- 2–3 years of experience with React, Cloudera Hadoop, or Appian.
- 2–3 years of experience with Java/Spring Boot web services.
- 2–3 years of experience with container technology and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- 2–3 years of experience with Kafka stream processing using Kafka Streams and KSQL.
- 2–3 years of experience with Git; experience with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence, is an added advantage.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, common design patterns, and software development lifecycle methodologies, with exposure to Agile/Scrum techniques.
- Proficiency working with large data sets and strong SQL optimization skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deliver projects within estimated timelines and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
