Base Salary
$150k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply software development techniques and methodologies to solve analytical challenges.
- Automate manual analytical processes using software development skills.
- Develop front-end interfaces, back-end microservices, web services, cloud architectures, databases, and persistent data stores.
- Deploy IT solutions, user applications, databases, and other IT capabilities.
- Design and develop applications and databases using a hybrid Agile approach within a DevOps environment.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databases.
- Maintain code integrity and organization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and launch features and coordinate deployment procedures and release plans.
- Support off-hours deployments, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field is required.
- Understanding of cloud architectures and enabling technologies, including AWS Cloud and GovCloud/C2S.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, JSON, SQL, and XML.
- High experience level with back-end programming languages including Java/Spring and Python.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with jQuery, ASP/.NET, NoSQL, PL/SQL, LDAP, HTTP, REST/SOAP, and RDBMS.
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Ansible, and Chef.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix server environments, Agile development, Jira, Confluence, and code versioning tools.
- Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Preferred experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, JMS/SQS/SNS, Kafka, AWS Lambda, NiFi, public keys, digital certificates, automated testing tools, DevOps environments, and data integration and visualization tools.
- Preferred familiarity includes Python, Groovy, and Shell Script, along with object-oriented programming languages, scripting, and databases.
