Base Salary
$128k - $152k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gathers and writes technical requirements for complex stories, features, and epics.
- Authors technical designs and develops REST APIs using Java.
- Implements applications in cloud-based infrastructure.
- Identifies best practices and guides team members in their implementation.
- Develops user-friendly applications using Angular.
- Maintains, modifies, and improves existing applications.
- Recognizes trends and recommends broad solutions.
- Contributes to and may lead project document and design/code reviews.
- Ensures adherence to IT Control Policies throughout design, development, and testing.
- Proactively works with cross-functional teams to build business relationships.
- Engages team to review ideas, solutions, issues, and concerns.
- Applies Agile concepts and collaborates closely with QA.
- Trains and mentors new/junior teammates.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development.
- BS Degree in Computer Science.
- Experience leading teams in the use of Claude Code.
- Prior experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects.
- Proven track record of delivering large projects successfully.
- Strong Java development skills.
- Object Oriented Design and Development skills.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Angular application development.
- Experience with RESTful and/or SOAP web services.
- Relational Database and SQL experience.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX.
- Experience with GIT code management.
- Experience with build tools like Maven and Gradle.
