Base Salary
$176k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and scale the platform serving real estate professionals, buyers, and sellers.
- Design and develop high-impact services across search, authorization, and transaction management.
- Architect distributed microservices that are fault tolerant, scalable, and well tested.
- Work with event-driven systems and server-to-server communication protocols.
- Support automated testing, monitoring, and operational excellence.
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire fellow engineers.
- Develop expertise in real estate technology and partner empathetically with customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience developing comprehensive, well-tested, and high-performance software applications.
- Proficiency with Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience with gRPC, Thrift, and other server-to-server communication protocols.
- Experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
- At least 3 years of experience using AWS or other cloud technologies.
- Strong experience designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant microservices.
- Understanding of industry-standard software development and architecture practices.
- Experience with Scrum or Agile development methodologies.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and operational excellence skills.
