Base Salary
$230k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture and systems strategy for Talkdesk’s largest and most complex global enterprise deployments.
- Design scalable, secure multi-agent systems and reusable architectural blueprints for enterprise integrations.
- Write production-grade Python, TypeScript, and Node.js code for custom AI agents, orchestration layers, and integrations.
- Build foundational SDKs, reusable agent templates, and deployment automation tools for the FDE organization.
- Serve as the primary technical authority for strategic customer accounts and guide executive and principal-architect stakeholders.
- Partner with Product and AI Engineering teams to translate customer requirements into platform capabilities and roadmap priorities.
- Mentor FDEs and establish engineering standards for prompt engineering, agent evaluation, workflow orchestration, and enterprise software delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or technical solutions engineering.
- 3+ years focused on architecting and deploying complex AI, ML, or agentic solutions using cloud services in production.
- Experience leading architecture and integration for large enterprise IT environments, including global ERPs, legacy contact center infrastructure, or enterprise CRMs.
- Proven experience designing and orchestrating multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, planning algorithms, memory structures, and tool-use or function-calling frameworks.
- Exceptional proficiency in TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or similar modern programming languages.
- Expert knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, including REST or GraphQL APIs, webhooks, gRPC, event-driven architectures, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Ability to build trust, navigate complex organizations, and drive technical consensus with C-suite executives and VP-level engineering leaders.
- Preferred experience with RAG architecture, Pinecone, Qdrant, Milvus, pgvector, and LLM evaluation frameworks.
- Preferred domain experience with Epic, Cerner, Aetna or payer systems, Salesforce, SAP, inventory platforms, CCaaS, UCaaS, or CX.
- Open-source AI framework, developer-tool, or public technical thought-leadership contributions are preferred.
