Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide small groups of two to three engineers, including offshore associates, on assigned engineering projects.
- Respond to business user questions and issues by researching solutions, determining implementation strategies, and providing technical guidance.
- Manage small to large complex projects by translating requirements into technical solutions, writing code, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Design and develop web interfaces, REST API services, GraphQL API services, event-streaming integrations, and database solutions.
- Build test automation and deploy applications through continuous integration and deployment tools and pipelines.
- Troubleshoot business and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, develop action plans, and document resolutions.
- Participate in project discovery and high-level design with product, project management, business, and user experience teams.
- Provide expert technical advice, support business solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with object-oriented programming in Java.
- Experience developing web user interfaces with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and SCSS.
- Experience designing and building REST API web services and GraphQL API web services using Java.
- Experience with Kafka event-streaming services.
- Experience building test automation, deploying applications through CI/CD tools, and using Jenkins and GitHub.
- Experience with Azure and Google Cloud services.
- Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with JIRA and Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
