Base Salary
$82k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Operate ArcGIS Velocity and ArcGIS Workflow Manager SaaS capabilities across multiple cloud regions.
- Design, implement, configure, and use monitoring systems for SaaS product health.
- Manage infrastructure, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot problems through resolution.
- Develop and maintain automation for deployment pipelines, incident resolution, and scaling processes.
- Design and implement deployment and upgrades for containerized microservice components.
- Create and automate Git workflows for code integration, testing, and infrastructure deployments.
- Participate in technical spike efforts and contribute ideas for future software versions.
- Troubleshoot system incidents and produce root cause analysis reports.
- Provide rotational on-call technical support.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing Kubernetes/EKS, ELK, Prometheus, Docker, and ECS.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Ability to design and automate Git workflows for code integration, testing, and infrastructure deployment.
- Ability to write Bash, Python, and Terraform scripts for infrastructure and application deployment.
- Strong AWS cloud computing knowledge and cloud networking experience with VPCs, subnets, security groups, and VPNs.
- Strong Linux operating system administration skills, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and shell scripting.
- Experience troubleshooting system and application issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of source control and issue management systems, preferably GitHub.
- Working knowledge of authoring, deploying, and troubleshooting Java applications on AWS Lambda.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, GIS, or information systems.
- Preferred experience designing, administering, or maintaining AWS cloud environments supporting 24×7 high-availability production systems.
- Preferred experience with OpenSearch and Kafka in large-scale distributed systems.
- Preferred knowledge of resilient, highly available, scalable, and performant SaaS capabilities.
- Preferred knowledge of Esri ArcGIS or other web mapping technologies.
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate, CKA/CKAD, or similar certifications are preferred.
- A master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, GIS, or information systems is preferred.
