Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user and team management services across multiple data regions.
- Contribute to the core authorization platform and centralized permission-management logic.
- Support and improve authentication workflows.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, and cross-functional teams on user and team features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; fix bugs and optimize performance.
- Participate in code reviews, implement feedback, and support team collaboration, testing, and mentorship.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend application development experience.
- Experience with Python and web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Pyramid.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic software design patterns.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Expertise designing and building services and APIs.
- Experience developing and maintaining SSO integrations using SAML and OIDC.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with co-located and remote engineers and cross-functional partners.
- Basic knowledge of SQL databases.
- Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and Terraform is preferred.
- Experience with messaging and streaming frameworks such as Kafka and Apache Spark is preferred.
- Interest in AI and experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code is a plus.
