Base Salary
$180k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Splunk go-to-market strategy with sales, alliances, executive leadership, Splunk, and Cisco.
- Lead technical qualification, discovery workshops, executive presentations, demonstrations, solution architecture, proposals, estimates, and Statements of Work.
- Design secure, scalable Splunk solutions and integrations across Splunk Cloud, Splunk Enterprise, security, IT operations, observability, and CCaaS environments.
- Build the Splunk Professional Services Practice, including its business plan, operating model, service portfolio, staffing strategy, methodologies, governance, and growth roadmap.
- Establish delivery standards, quality controls, estimating models, runbooks, accelerators, implementation frameworks, and sales-to-delivery handoffs.
- Oversee early engagements and later transition to portfolio and practice oversight as the team scales.
- Act as the senior escalation point for technical risk, scope issues, architecture decisions, and strategic customer concerns.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, mentor, and develop architects, consultants, engineers, and project leaders.
- Own the professional services relationship with Splunk and coordinate partner programs, competencies, certifications, incentives, and co-selling activities.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on experience with Splunk Cloud and Splunk Enterprise across architecture, design, implementation, integration, migration, optimization, and operations.
- Expertise in one or more Splunk-aligned domains, including SIEM, security operations, observability, IT operations, service intelligence, automation, compliance, or enterprise data analytics.
- Proven client-facing consulting experience in professional services, systems integration, technology consulting, or a vendor partner environment.
- Architect-level experience with a Contact Center as a Service platform is required; Cisco contact center experience is preferred.
- Experience leading technical discovery, solution architecture, estimation, proposals, Statements of Work, presentations, and complex customer discussions.
- Demonstrated experience building, launching, leading, or materially growing a consulting practice, service line, technical capability, or portfolio of offerings.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies, service offerings, delivery methodologies, reusable assets, and business plans.
- Understanding of professional services economics, including bookings, revenue, backlog, utilization, margin, staffing, demand management, and delivery risk.
- Strong executive presence, written communication, commercial judgment, and ability to translate technology into business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
- Advanced Splunk certification, such as Splunk Architect or Splunk Administrator, is preferred.
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security, Splunk IT Service Intelligence, Splunk Observability, managed services, recurring services, or advisory models is preferred.
- Experience hiring, developing, mentoring, and leading technical consulting teams is preferred.
- Familiarity with Cisco technologies, partner programs, sales motions, professional services, and integrations across CCaaS, customer experience, CRM, cloud, networking, security, infrastructure, and enterprise data platforms is preferred.
