Responsibilities
- Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications across CrowdStrike products.
- Build and scale cloud-based systems that detect targeted attacks and automate cyber threat intelligence production.
- Design and develop foundational services for data, content, and execution orchestration across products including NGSIEM, FCS, and Endpoint.
- Work on real-time streaming, distributed correlation, graph-based activity data, custom query languages, state machines, and performance-sensitive systems.
- Collaborate across teams, mentor developers, and contribute to architecture, performance, stability, and user-experience improvements.
- Own work end to end from design through production in a high-trust environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience with data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Understanding of scalability and distributed-systems concepts including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency.
- Strong backend engineering experience and understanding of testing, code review, resilient architecture, and other engineering best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment.
- Ability to deliver reliable, unit-tested, code-reviewed software and contribute regularly to continuous integration.
- Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, or business outcomes.
- Open-source contributions and experience with Go, C++, Scala, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, programming languages, or compilers are beneficial.
- Prior cybersecurity or intelligence experience is beneficial.
