Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, performant backend code primarily in Go.
- Implement new microservices and help manage and migrate away from legacy services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to convert requirements into technical designs.
- Optimize systems for responsiveness, latency, reliability, and heavy loads.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining scalable backend services, or at least 5 years for senior-level candidates.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Go or another strong language such as Python, C++, Java, or Ruby.
- In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
