Responsibilities
- Own assigned development tasks from analysis through deployment.
- Analyze features and requirements and create clear implementation plans.
- Design, implement, unit test, and deploy Java-based microservices.
- Support testing activities and resolve defects.
- Address vulnerability fixes and support migrations, upgrades, and other changes.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming, collections, multithreading, and exception handling.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, microservices architecture, JPA, and SQL.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL and data-streaming technologies such as Kafka.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, containerization, deployment, REST APIs, JSON, Maven or Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of distributed systems and performance tuning, with exposure to the banking and financial services domain.
- Preferred experience includes MongoDB, Redis, GraphQL, OpenShift, additional data-streaming tools, Angular 16 or later, TypeScript, micro front-end architecture, module federation, server-driven UI patterns, Bootstrap, and Jasmine.
