Responsibilities
- Gather system requirements from end users, IT teams, and key stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
- Integrate machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics solutions across ServiceNow modules.
- Lead, coach, and mentor Senior Software Engineers and Software Engineers delivering customer professional services projects.
- Manage application development activities including design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Design custom and product-based ServiceNow solutions based on functional and technical requirements.
- Configure REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and other applications, including bi-directional automated integrations.
- Implement and validate service maps, impact assessment rules, event management work, and user acceptance testing.
- Promote update sets and data across ServiceNow environments and remediate related production incidents.
- Coordinate with technical leads and stakeholders to maintain consistent shared patterns and approaches.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience supporting ServiceNow implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development across two or more capabilities.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow AI and automation capabilities, including Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, Performance Analytics, and Now Assist.
- Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing Now Assist features such as case summarization, resolution recommendations, and conversational workflows.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using mid servers, cloud-to-cloud integrations, REST, SOAP, and Web Services Integration.
- Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC or with ETL integrations.
- Experience implementing ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Software Asset Management, ITSM, Service Catalog, and Workflows.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and related scripting.
- Ability to contribute to strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, or a related field.
- Willingness and ability to complete ServiceNow competency certifications and module accreditations; ITIL Foundation and ServiceNow CSA/CAD are preferred.
