Responsibilities
- Produce clear, logical, and maintainable code for multi-functional modules.
- Develop testable code with a strong focus on boundary and negative testing.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for API endpoints and structures.
- Independently manage simple projects while collaborating with senior engineers.
- Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and retrospectives.
- Deliver high-value systems and features for clients and other teams.
- Ensure quality product delivery within deadlines and report potential issues.
- Conduct detailed code reviews and document best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Java development.
- Proven experience deploying complete solutions from design to delivery.
- Enjoyment in developing, supporting, and maintaining quality code.
- Willingness to restructure code and explore new technologies.
- Knowledge of web services and REST API development.
- Proficiency in Java and Java frameworks like Spring Framework/J2EE/Reactor.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS3 and JavaScript/TypeScript; ReactJS/Redux/AngularJS knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Node.js and frameworks like Express/HappiJS.
- Knowledge of MySQL/MongoDB and MySQL procedures.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with unit testing using JUnit.
- Practical knowledge of containers like Docker/Rkt.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Kubernetes/Mesos/OpenShift.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ/Kafka.
- Knowledge of design patterns is a plus.
- Experience with integration and performance testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology is a plus.
