Senior Software Architect
SentinelOneResponsibilities
- Analyze the existing monolithic architecture, identify pain points, and design iterative solutions.
- Lead the design and development of a scalable, maintainable, and operationally excellent microservices architecture.
- Evaluate and implement tools, frameworks, and methodologies for a robust microservices ecosystem.
- Develop proofs of concept and prototypes, perform code reviews, and contribute primarily Java code to production systems.
- Mentor engineers, share architectural best practices, and foster engineering excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, quality, DevOps/Infrastructure, and leadership teams on objectives, designs, timelines, and execution.
Requirements
- Extensive software engineering experience architecting large-scale distributed systems and microservices, with emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Experience leading migrations from monolithic architectures to cloud-native microservices; multi-cloud, multi-region, and multi-tenant experience is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Go, with Python experience considered a plus.
- Extensive experience building scalable solutions with Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Strong technical communication skills and the ability to influence engineering direction across teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and interest in high-impact assignments.
- Experience using agentic engineering tools and LLMs across multiple areas of the software development lifecycle is highly desired.
