Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale self-service AI, agentic, and data-platform capabilities and frameworks.
- Advance AI-native software development through coding agents, agentic workflows, and harness engineering.
- Partner across engineering and product teams to define requirements and deliver trusted end-to-end data solutions.
- Drive technical architecture, cross-team alignment, and innovation using Microsoft Azure, AI technologies, and open-source frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with production big data platforms, streaming pipelines, platform capabilities, state management, checkpointing, connectors, or performance tuning is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes online experimentation, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, distributed storage, analytical systems, and near-real-time data pipelines.
- Preferred experience includes Copilot, agents, LLM orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, and agent-assisted engineering or data workflows.
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud services, enterprise platforms, reliable highly available production services, observability, telemetry, or service reliability is preferred.
- Proficiency in one or more of C#, C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, influence technical direction, navigate ambiguity, and drive technical decisions is required.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud background check and applicable customer or government security screening requirements is required.
