Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver scalable software, data, and machine learning solutions for client projects.
- Design and implement data pipelines, ML workflows, cloud or on-premise infrastructure, and end-to-end documented solutions.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, data pipelines, model deployment workflows, automation, and cloud-native environments.
- Support architecture modernization through improved testing, deployment, observability, data quality, reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Manage ML lifecycle practices including experiment tracking, model versioning, validation, deployment, promotion, rollback, and monitoring.
- Coach colleagues, communicate technical decisions, own deliverables, and advise clients on architecture, data platforms, and ML solution design.
- Research, test, and implement new techniques, tools, and technologies while upholding software development and quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, including recent hands-on experience with data engineering, MLOps, or production ML systems.
- Bachelor’s degree, college degree, certification in a software-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Intermediate or conversational French proficiency.
- Strong backend development experience and familiarity with API design, distributed systems, and pragmatic architectural decision-making.
- Experience building or supporting data pipelines, data platforms, ML deployment workflows, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, monitoring, testing, and cloud cost optimization.
- Ability to collaborate with clients or stakeholders, mentor teammates, work in ambiguous environments, and structure complex problems.
- Preferred experience includes React, Angular, Svelte, Vue, Remix, full-stack web development, LLMOps, RAG systems, vector databases, GenAI application deployment, edge computing, IoT, robotics, event-driven systems, messaging systems, and technical leadership.
