Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver scalable software, data, and machine learning solutions for client projects.
- Design and implement data pipelines, ML workflows, cloud or on-premise infrastructure, and end-to-end production solutions.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, automation practices, and containerized or cloud-native environments.
- Support ML lifecycle activities including experiment tracking, model versioning, validation, deployment, promotion, rollback, and monitoring.
- Improve architecture, testing, observability, data quality, reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Define and communicate non-functional requirements and advise clients on technical direction, architecture, data platforms, and ML solution design.
- Coach colleagues and contribute to software development, data engineering, MLOps, and delivery best practices.
- Research and implement new techniques, tools, and technologies while owning deliverables end-to-end.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience, including recent hands-on experience with data engineering, MLOps, or production ML systems.
- Bachelor’s degree, college degree, certification in a software-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Intermediate or conversational French proficiency.
- Strong backend development experience and familiarity with API design and distributed systems.
- Experience building or supporting data pipelines, data platforms, or ML deployment workflows.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with at least one server-side language such as Python, Java, Node.js/TypeScript, Go, or C#.
- Proficiency with at least one data engineering platform such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, virtualization, containerization, deployment automation, monitoring, observability, and testing.
- Ability to collaborate with clients or stakeholders, mentor teammates, make pragmatic architectural decisions, and work effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Experience with a modern client-side framework, full-stack development, LLMOps, RAG systems, vector databases, GenAI application deployment, event-driven systems, or technical leadership is a plus.
