Responsibilities
- Co-own the development and operation of client cloud platforms across Azure and GCP.
- Advance DevOps tooling including GitLab CI pipelines, ArgoCD, Apigee API Gateway, Backstage, Terraform, OpenTofu, Datadog, SonarQube, and Python scripts.
- Act as the go-to expert for Kubernetes.
- Drive and contribute to architecture decisions for the cloud platform.
- Enable and support software development teams in using the cloud platform and DevOps tooling.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least five years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a cloud environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and/or OpenTofu.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies across Azure and GCP.
- Solid Python skills.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Experience with Kafka, Confluent Cloud, OAuth 2.0, GitLab CI pipelines, Datadog, or SonarQube is preferred.
