Responsibilities
- Design and implement application-level architecture for complex enterprise applications and subsystems.
- Develop real-time analytics, recommendation applications, full-stack systems, and advanced data engineering solutions.
- Build infrastructure and data pipelines for deploying recommendation models using cloud and data technologies.
- Participate in architecture teams and recommend development testing tools, methodologies, and test plans.
- Ensure QA readiness, comprehensive documentation, and delivery of robust software deliverables.
- Establish project life-cycle plans, coordinate schedules across multiple projects, and manage delivery against goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Advise on technical strategy, risk management, technology evaluations, and solutions to business and project issues.
- Serve as a liaison with business units and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of qualifying experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields and three years of qualifying experience.
- Experience performing real-time analytics and recommendation application development using Amazon Web Services.
- Expertise in object-oriented programming with Java, Scala, and Python, including NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Experience with Java, Spring, RESTful services, relational and NoSQL databases, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and graph databases.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, ETL and ELT, AWS SQS, Kinesis, Kafka, Apache Flink, Snowflake, and AWS Glue.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, ECS, or EKS for development automation, version control, code quality, orchestration, and application hosting.
- Ability to provide architectural direction, conduct complex technical analysis, advise senior management, and mentor junior engineers.
