Base Salary

$126k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive adoption of platform development standards and architecture patterns.
  • Lead technical delivery of software components across design, development, deployment, and support while addressing risk, privacy, cybersecurity, legal, and regulatory constraints.
  • Design scalable and resilient features and evaluate proposed projects, software changes, and product releases.
  • Drive the platform innovation roadmap, including proofs of concept involving new technologies.
  • Mentor junior developers and influence technical leads, architects, and delivery teams on best practices.
  • Ensure solutions align with medical-device quality systems, regulatory expectations, business processes, and technology roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 7 years delivering software solutions across the development lifecycle.
  • At least 5 years of technical leadership experience delivering software projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple software development and integration efforts and demonstrate software design and architecture leadership.
  • Experience with architected asynchronous systems, such as Kafka or similar tools.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud service providers; identity management or authentication providers, preferably Okta; GitHub; CI/CD capabilities; and Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to propose ideas, influence peers, learn new technologies, and apply Agile software development concepts.
