Responsibilities
- Research prospect businesses, markets, customers, competitors, and business challenges before customer meetings.
- Conduct discovery conversations to identify customer requirements, objectives, pain points, metrics, and value drivers.
- Specify appropriate Talkdesk solutions based on customer needs and maintain knowledge of Talkdesk capabilities and releases.
- Design and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations in on-site and virtual settings.
- Create value statements, assist with implementation SOW scoping, and scope, execute, and manage customer pilots and POCs.
- Respond to functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements by mapping them to software solutions.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to incorporate customer feedback into product roadmaps.
- Support marketing and demand-generation events as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of Solutions Engineering experience in software, VoIP/telecommunications, contact centers, or premise/cloud selling to commercial or enterprise customers.
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations and lead technical discussions with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to address business requirements with technical solutions.
- Healthcare experience across providers, payers, or digital health, including knowledge of clinical workflows, regulatory compliance, and patient engagement.
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare standards, regulations, and data handling practices including HIPAA, HITECH, and HITRUST.
- Experience aligning technology solutions to clinical, operational, and financial healthcare KPIs.
- Experience with SaaS and at least 2 years supporting healthcare-specific customers is desirable.
- Experience with healthcare contact centers and integrations such as patient scheduling, billing, nurse triage, Epic, Cerner, or Salesforce Health Cloud is desirable.
- Knowledge of CRM software, ITSM, data warehousing, business intelligence, UCaaS, CCaaS, and web or scripting technologies is a plus.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with healthcare compliance, security, and IT stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel 20–50% for customer and internal meetings.
