Senior Forward Deploy Engineer (Fullstack - Java/React)

Responsibilities
- Develop and ship full-stack customer solutions, primarily with Java and React, including integrations, fixes, tests, and platform improvements.
- Engage customers and field teams to gather requirements, understand technical environments, and shape practical technical strategies.
- Design and deliver customer integrations, deployments, runbooks, integration documentation, and technical enablement.
- Contribute fixes and improvements upstream to SentinelOne’s core product and build tooling that scales repeatable Forward Deploy patterns.
- Architect end-to-end solutions, write and review technical specifications, document trade-offs, and assess cross-codebase dependencies.
- Review code and champion code quality, security, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Respond to customer and internal escalations, collaborate with teammates, and provide mentorship.
Requirements
- 4+ years of engineering experience covering both backend and frontend development.
- Solid computer science background and experience designing and operating distributed systems or data-intensive services.
- Proven ability to lead substantial work end-to-end under ambiguity and across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working directly with customers or senior stakeholders to shape technical solutions.
- Deep proficiency in at least one production programming language, with Java strongly preferred and 3+ years of Java experience preferred.
- Working comfort with an additional programming language and willingness to learn new tools and codebases.
- Experience with or willingness to work with React, TypeScript, Kafka, Redis, GraphQL, Node.js, and SentinelOne’s platform.
- Experience in cybersecurity, such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, log pipelines, detection engineering, or threat hunting, is strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, technical judgment, collaboration, code-quality focus, and mentoring ability.
