Base Salary

$150k - $300k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end deployments of Collate’s AI systems, including scoping, building, production rollout, and measuring workflow impact.
Embed with customer teams to identify broken processes, valuable opportunities, and buildable solutions.
Design and ship production AI systems including document-generation agents, agentic workflows, and data pipelines.
Define and run evaluation loops using workflow-specific benchmarks, acceptance criteria, output accuracy, and reviewer expectations.
Turn successful customer deployments into repeatable patterns that inform Collate’s product and platform roadmap.
Translate technical tradeoffs into decisions and operating procedures for scientific, regulatory, executive, engineering, and product audiences.

Experience owning customer-facing AI deployments end-to-end from scoping through production adoption, with measurable workflow impact.
A track record of building and shipping production software from scratch in ambiguous environments.
Hands-on production AI experience with prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
Experience operating as a senior engineer or tech lead making technical decisions without a defined specification or clear path.
Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including CTO-level and executive audiences.
Preferred context in life sciences, regulated industries, or document-heavy workflows, including auditability, compliance, and high-stakes review cycles.
Founder-minded, curious, scrappy, resourceful, and comfortable determining what to build in ambiguous customer environments.
