Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and support existing applications, new features, and new platforms.
- Build and manage post-trade systems for transaction capture, positions, trades, executions, reporting, and P&L.
- Develop drop-copy and FIX integrations across a multi-manager, multi-strategy platform.
- Build cloud-deployed microservices using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Lead strategic technical initiatives from start to finish and run projects.
- Provide global Level 3 support and continuously improve platform capabilities.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a performant, supportable, future-ready codebase.
Requirements
- At least seven years of financial-services experience working on applications supporting the trade lifecycle.
- At least seven years of Java development experience.
- Expertise in software design and architecture, with microservices experience preferred.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with messaging systems, preferably Kafka.
- Experience supporting listed and OTC instruments, including Fixed Income, Credit, Rates, Equities, and Futures, is preferred.
- Experience developing and supporting stateful applications built on Apache Flink is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, and build automation is preferred.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring junior developers, and delivering results.
