Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Write clean, efficient, testable code using best practices and design patterns.
- Design and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and product managers to deliver solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Develop unit and integration tests.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external systems.
- Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment and monitoring practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise in Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with Git and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes Kafka, RabbitMQ, event-driven architecture, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API gateways, service discovery, testing tools, observability tools, infrastructure-as-code tools, and high-volume or financial services applications.
