Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Angular and .NET.
- Partner with product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to understand processes and system dependencies.
- Translate mainframe-era workflows into clean, documented APIs and services.
- Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for front-end and back-end integration.
- Create Angular single-page applications with attention to usability and performance.
- Contribute to event-driven and workflow-oriented solutions, including asynchronous processing, reconciliation, and backfill scenarios.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Own engineering solutions end to end while improving reliability, observability, scalability, security, performance, and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience with C# and .NET.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on experience building scalable, distributed systems.
- Strong experience developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience designing and working with event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including complex queries and stored procedures.
- Proficiency with modern front-end development using Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience writing unit tests and supporting high-quality, maintainable codebases.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services such as App Services, Functions, and Azure SQL.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
- Preferred experience in financial services, accounting systems, or corporate finance environments.
- Preferred experience modernizing legacy or monolithic applications into service-oriented or microservices architectures.
- Exposure to Kafka or Confluent, Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Pega BPM, Informatica, or Snowflake is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, ownership, adaptability, and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools are expected.
