Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
- Implement complex architecture in collaboration with enterprise architects while contributing hands-on to development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Agile environments to align technical solutions with business priorities.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into maintainable technical solutions using sound engineering judgment.
- Own critical components and drive performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical leadership.
- Apply best practices in testing, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, REST APIs, real-time streaming architectures, and microservices architecture patterns.
- Experience delivering cloud-native applications on AWS or other major cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DocumentDB.
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and deployment automation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps tooling, including tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Experience writing, testing, and validating code for quality and reliability.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across architecture, engineering, and product teams.
- Experience in FinTech or regulated enterprise-scale environments is preferred.
- Exposure to LLM workflows or integrating ML models into production systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with scalable messaging platforms such as Kafka or other streaming technologies is preferred.
