Responsibilities
- Partner with client stakeholders to identify AI and Data Intelligence use cases and translate requirements into technical designs, prototypes, production implementations, and delivery plans.
- Build and deploy AI-enabled applications, data pipelines, integrations, RAG systems, semantic search experiences, and agentic workflows using trusted enterprise data.
- Ingest, transform, enrich, index, retrieve, evaluate, and govern structured and unstructured enterprise data while maintaining appropriate access, privacy, security, and retention controls.
- Develop Claude and LLM applications with prompt and context engineering, structured outputs, tool use, workflow orchestration, MCP or comparable integrations, and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
- Integrate AI and Data Intelligence capabilities with ServiceNow workflows, APIs, knowledge, data, and user experiences.
- Create evaluation datasets, test plans, observability, logging, tracing, monitoring, feedback loops, and continuous-improvement processes for AI and data-intensive solutions.
- Investigate production issues, improve reliability and quality, and support version control, release management, LLMOps, and DataOps practices.
- Communicate designs, tradeoffs, risks, findings, and recommendations to technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
- Contribute reusable code, RAG components, accelerators, evaluation assets, architecture patterns, playbooks, demos, and internal documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI engineering, data engineering, analytics engineering, cloud engineering, systems integration, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience building applications, data pipelines, integrations, APIs, automations, or cloud-based services.
- Strong proficiency in Python; experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, SQL, or similar languages is valuable.
- Experience with structured and unstructured data, relational databases, document repositories, APIs, and cloud storage.
- Experience with SQL, data transformation, data modeling, ETL/ELT, data ingestion, or data integration.
- Exposure to generative AI, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, semantic search, prompt engineering, AI agents, or LLM APIs.
- Experience building API-driven integrations using REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, service accounts, and authentication or authorization patterns.
- Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of Git, code review, testing, debugging, documentation, and agile delivery practices.
- Strong problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, and client-collaboration skills.
- Ability and willingness to work directly with clients in a consulting and professional-services environment.
- Preferred: experience with Claude, the Anthropic API, Anthropic Console, Claude Code, Anthropic Academy learning, or Anthropic partner enablement.
- Preferred: experience with RAG systems, document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector databases, hybrid search, reranking, citations, and retrieval evaluation.
- Preferred: experience with Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Azure AI Search, Vertex AI Search, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
- Preferred: experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Microsoft Fabric, data cataloging, governance, lineage, or data-quality tooling.
- Preferred: familiarity with ServiceNow development or architecture, including ServiceNow APIs, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, AI Agents, knowledge management, CMDB, ITSM, CSM, or HRSD.
- Preferred: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, cloud-native services, data orchestration, monitoring, or observability tools.
- Relevant cloud, data, ServiceNow, AI/ML, security, or agile certifications are preferred.
