Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Apache NiFi dataflows for application, system, and data integrations.
- Implement routing, transformation, enrichment, filtering, and orchestration patterns using reusable processors, scripts, and templates.
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, tune, and load-balance NiFi flows and clusters in production environments.
- Manage NiFi versioning, configuration, and lifecycle through NiFi Registry.
- Apply security, data governance, auditability, and sensitive-data handling practices across integration flows.
- Provide third-level on-call support and maintain platform availability, reliability, and responsiveness.
- Provide consultative business and systems integration services and translate customer needs into technology solutions.
- Guide and coach developers from user teams on Apache NiFi.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of professional experience is required.
- Minimum three years of Apache Kafka experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi, including flow design, templates, processors, and NiFi Registry.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and dataflow architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, XSLT, Python, Bash, and Groovy.
- Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with Kafka, message queues, event streaming, and data pipelines.
- Understanding of certificates, authentication, authorization, encryption, and encrypted flows.
- Proficiency with Linux, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for distributed flow environments.
- Experience with comparable integration or middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Talend, Apache Camel, TIBCO, webMethods, or Informatica.
