Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build and consume APIs for scalable enterprise applications and develop cloud-native distributed systems.
- Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Kafka integrations.
- Containerize applications with Docker and deploy them using Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Troubleshoot production issues, diagnose complex software problems, optimize performance, and implement root-cause fixes.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests and oversee testing and debugging across the application stack.
- Conduct code and design reviews and ensure adherence to coding, technical, architectural, security, scalability, and reliability standards.
- Maintain hands-on understanding of CI/CD deployment workflows, troubleshoot deployment issues, and guide the team without owning the pipeline.
- Mentor or technically lead engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience with frontend development using Vue.js, TypeScript, and HTML.
- Experience with backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tooling and end-to-end deployment workflows, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or technically leading engineers.
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
