Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for API and backend services.
- Create functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end automated tests for complex loan-processing workflows.
- Validate RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, microservices, payloads, logs, and system interactions.
- Define API test scenarios covering functional behavior, negative cases, error handling, security validation, performance considerations, and data consistency.
- Perform contract and integration testing across multiple systems.
- Define automation standards, best practices, coding guidelines, test strategies, and coverage for new features.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test execution reliability.
- Support deployment validation, production readiness activities, quality metrics, and automation reporting.
- Participate in requirements and design reviews to identify quality risks early and support shift-left testing.
- Conduct code reviews, enhance automation frameworks, and drive continuous improvement across QA practices.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, business analysts, operations teams, and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA Automation experience.
- 3+ years of API test automation experience.
- Experience testing enterprise applications with multiple integrations.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, OAuth2, JWT, and Basic Auth.
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI, RestAssured, Postman or Insomnia, and similar API automation tools.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#.
- Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or xUnit.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Xray, and Zephyr.
- Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.
