Responsibilities
- Define and implement backend services, integrations, and extensions.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations using commercetools.
- Implement core components such as Product Catalog, Customers, and Orders.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing backend services.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and DevOps.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Act as a technical role model promoting best practices.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to improve backend architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Java, and Typescript.
- Experience with composable commerce architecture.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
